BoatHouse

The New Haven Rowing Club boasts a two-bay, three-story, beautifully designed and pridefully built, world-class boathouse. Built in 1992 by club members, the boathouse is four miles north of the Yale boathouse on the Housatonic River.

Members may apply to store single sculls in the indoor bays. Club equipment includes team boats 8+, 4+, and 4x for men and women, as well as a doubles and singles of various weights. There are unrestricted boats and Maas trainers for less experienced rowers, and state-of-the-art newer shells for experienced rowers.

The second floor holds men's and women's locker rooms, a kitchen, and a common area where the club hosts Saturday breakfasts during the fall season as well as social events and fitness demonstrations. The third floor has a small weights room and ergs for extra training.
